My Cozy Yard is a trade name of GP Headquarters LLC, a Florida limited liability company. We stand behind the quality of the products we offer. This policy explains how returns and refunds are handled for purchases made through mycozyyard.com.
Because many of our products are made-to-order and ship directly from manufacturers, return eligibility may vary. Many fire features are customized to order and are subject to strict return limitations. This policy outlines our general return standards.
2. Return Summary

- Return Window: Requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery (if eligible)
- Damage Reporting: Freight damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
- Return Authorization Required: All returns require written approval before shipment
- Condition Requirement: Items must be unused and in original packaging unless defective
- Return Shipping: Customer is responsible unless item is defective or damaged
- Restocking Fee: Approved non-defective returns may be subject to a restocking fee up to 25% depending on manufacturer
- Freight Inspection Requirement: Customers must inspect deliveries and note visible damage before signing
⚠️ Important – Made-to-Order Products
Many of our fire features are made-to-order based on customer-selected specifications.
- These products are final sale
- Once production begins, orders cannot be canceled, modified, or returned
- By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these terms
3. Freight Deliveries & Inspection
Many of our products ship via freight and are delivered curbside.
At time of delivery, customers must:
- Inspect packaging for visible damage
- Note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing
- Take clear photos of any damage
- Refuse delivery if the product is severely damaged
Failure to document visible freight damage at delivery may limit our ability to file a claim.
4. Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return (if applicable):
- Item must be unused and unassembled
- Item must be in original packaging
- All parts and documentation must be included
- Return request must be submitted within 30 days
Non-returnable items include:
- Made-to-order products
- Custom or modified items
- Installed or used products
5. Return Process
To initiate a return:

- Provide order number, photos (if applicable), and reason for return
- Wait for written return authorization and instructions
⚠️ Do not ship items back without approval. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
6. Refunds
Once a return is received and inspected:
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method or as store credit
- Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after inspection
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless item was defective or damaged
- Any applicable restocking fee will be deducted from the refund

7. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photos of packaging and product
- We will coordinate replacement parts, exchange, or resolution based on manufacturer policy
